things are tough recently. i'm swimming in work and can't see a light at the end of the tunnel. i'm trying to take things bit by bit. a friend sent me this video today, and it made me smile. it also made me really miss california, though i'm not totally sure why...

i love it when ruby makes other people happy. when their mouths turn up in a smile as she walks by.
