i just discovered maira kalman's blog. and i adore it. her work is heartwrenching and breathtaking. and just absolutely lovely. i. adore. it.

i'm a book whore and a dog fanatic. a graduate of dartmouth college in '05, i recently returned home from a fellowship in india. i'm now in the midst of grad school and am trying to remember to take things day by day. i bite my nails. i tend to bake up a storm. i spill things, easily and often. i enjoy beauty products and finding bargains in unexpected places. i can wiggle my ears. i'm a sucker for stationery. i love things that make me laugh.
